AMD Xilinx Open Hardware Competition 2023

Registration for the 2023 edition of the competition is now open.

Categories

For this year’s competition, we have simplified the categories into Student (undergraduates) and PhD (PhD candidates).

Prizes

Cash prizes of €2000 will be awarded for winning entries in each category. An additional ML prize (from either category) will be awarded.

Now that Xilinx is part of AMD, special consideration will be given to projects that use any combination of heterogeneous AMD hardware; AMD CPUs, GPUs and Adaptive Computing FPGAs, SOCs, or ACAPs. Additional prizes may be awarded at the discretion of the organisers.

Awards and Travel

We also plan to return to an in-person awards ceremony at our Dublin office. Each member from the winning teams will receive sponsored travel to the awards ceremony.

Registration

Registrations must be received by 28 February 2023, and teams have until 30 June 2023 to submit their project.
